  3. In a weird twist of fate, I just stumbled upon this article with some good Twitter basics for author/writer types. Though it might be useful to you :)

  5. Hey, so I'm totally new to Twitter too (just followed you) and I did a post here:

    carissa-taylor.blogspot.com/2013/03/top-mistakes-authors-make-on-twitter.html

The post itself is not SUPER helpful (me being a newbie and all). What's more helpful are the links and the tips people left in the comments =D

  6. It's great for authors, but also a great time-waster if you let it! Ha.

  7. Thanks for the links Carissa!

And Melanie...I'm determined not to spend too much time on it. If I do, I'll have to stop all together and I don't want that :)

  8. So nice to see you on Twitter (not that I myself am on there much--been too busy!). A good tip is when you add someone to your Followers, put them in a PRIVATE--or public, if you don't care if the world sees how you categorize people--List, and then you can organize what you see better. I have a folder for Close Friends, for instance, and another for Editors/Agents.
