Break Time!

Um, I'm sure this never happens to any of you, but life has caught up with me. I've been a horrible blogger, I haven't written much in the last month, my kids are out of control, and the house has gone...well, I don't know. I can't find it.

So, this week I'll be trying to catch up with everything! I hope to write some more, make it around the blogging world, get a schedule set for my kids, and find my house.

Which means, I won't be here, on my blog, until next week!

Have a great week and hopefully my mind will be more organized soon. If not, well, let's just say that a bigger break will be in order. That can't happen though. I won't let it!

Have you ever felt like this?

  1. Ahh the eternle triangle: writing, motherhood, housework. I feel the stress and wish you well with working it out - wanna potty train my two year old while you're doing it? ;)

  2. Most definitely. I'm trying to finish school and between school and writing, the former has been winning. My poor blog was pretty sad and lonely. Congrats though for trying to get back on track. I think I'll follow your example and post today as well =)

  3. You sound like me! lol My internet is being weird, so I've sort of taken this week off as well while we get it working normal again. It's a nice little break for me. I hope you get life figured out!

I'm sending you an e-mail as well. :)

  6. I can completely relate, Michelle. I've got crits waiting, edits, blogs, and I'm trying to launch my debut YA novella. I've been feeling overwhelmed. This sounds like a great topic for Alex Cavanaugh's Insecure Writers Group.
Take a deep breath and know you are doing the best you can. :)

  7. Yes! the last time I blogged or wrote anything must have been over a month ago. My house has been getting progressively grosser - but today I managed to finish cleaning the kitchen! (while the kids dumped out all the toys I organized)
I hope you find balance again
